Oooops! Catch up!

Hellooooooooo! Sorry we haven't posted anything for ages! We are currently in Bolivia and since arriving here it has been quite difficult to get on the internet, never mind post anything on here! We are both really well and having an amazing time!

Here are a few pics from our last few weeks in lovely El Bolson before we made the 50 HOUR bus journey from Patagonia to Bolivia!!! It was quite insane, but we made it unscathed! We are working on adding some photo albums to the blog so that everyone can see everything we are up to!

This is the 20km trek we did at the Cajon de Azul, which was so beautiful!

Here we are doing a spot of (small) cliff jumping! This was so much fun, if not slightly terrifying. It wasn't necessarily the height that was the problem, but the FREEEEEEEEEEEEEZING cold water at the bottom!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best bit about it was watching other people jump in and then hearing their screams about the cold when they emerged at the surface! There was a lot of swearing.........

Here is the view of the valley from the top of a hill in El Bolson on another walk we did there. So beautiful! The walk takes you to the Indian Head rock, which is a not so clever ploy on the part of the Argentinian tourism industry, because while it is supposed to look like a head, it looks, shock horror, like a rock. A few kilometres later though and there are some lovely waterfalls, so that made up for it!

Here I am enjoying one of my favourite passtimes in El Bolson, the lovely hammocks! Set in the gardens of the hostel, with views of the Andes, life really doesn't get much better. Here I am with Ladroncita (Little Thief). She was the most beautiful and cheeky little puppy! She was a stray and had followed one of the girls who worked at the hostel one day - she was really thin and full of paracites, but the people at the hostel took her in and took her to the vet, so here she was really healthy, full of beans and really cheeky! Unfortunately, we heard that she passed away a couple of weeks ago...it seems she had been poisoned in some way, although no one is sure. We are so sad about it, it seemed like she was going to have a long and happy life. She had the most amazing life at the hostel though, albeit very short.
